Meet The Doctors

Michael D. Louria, DMDMichael D. Louria, DMD

Dr. Michael D. Louria is a true Floridian. He was born in Sanford and graduated from Orlando’s Colonial High School in 1988. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Agriculture (Microbiology and Cell Science) in 1993 from the University of Florida in Gainesville. In 1997, he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.), also from the University of Florida.

Dr. Louria entered the United States Air Force and served as a dental officer for 8 years. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in his first year on active duty. In 2001, Dr. Louria was selected to attend Wilford Hall Medical Center in conjunction with the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio to study Endodontics. He earned his certificate in 2003 and became board certified in 2008. Dr. Louria separated from the United States Air Force in 2006 with the rank of Major and went into private practice in Winter Springs.

Dr. Louria is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Central Florida District Dental Association and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.

Dr. Louria is married with two children. Both he and his family attend The Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Oviedo.

In his spare time, Dr. Louria enjoys physical fitness, fishing, scuba diving and being with family and friends.

 

Robin B. Dodd, DDSRobin B. Dodd, DDS

Born in Oakland, California, to a career Navy Master Chief, Dr. Robin B. Dodd called many places home in his earlier years, but finally settled in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Dodd attended Northwest Missouri State College.

After graduating in 1975 from the University of Missouri College of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.), he joined the United States Navy and served as a Naval Dental Officer for 20 years. His first year in the Navy saw him complete a General Practice Residency Program. In 1982, he was selected to attend the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond to study Endodontics. Dr. Dodd earned his certificate in 1984. In 1990, he became Board Certified. He retired from the Navy in 1995 with a rank of Commander and went into private practice in Winter Springs.

Dr. Dodd is a Member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Canadian Endodontic Society, the Dental Society of Greater Orlando and the Central Florida District Dental Association.

Dr. Dodd has been married for 35 years and has three children and a grandson. He and his wife are members of the First Methodist Church of Oviedo.

In his spare time, Dr. Dodd loves to travel and dabble in photography and woodworking. Lately, he has been spending time with his new grandson.
